Bella Hadid was born on October 9,1996 in Los Angeles, California. She is the daughter of Yolanda Van den Herik, Dutch model and TV personality who raised to fame in the 1980s, and millionaire real estate businessman Mohamed Hadid. The younger sister of Gigi Hadid, Bella grew up in a ranch in Santa Barbara, and then moved with her family to Malibu.
For Bella, 2014 was a very lucky year; in fact, she signed with IMG Models and a week later she was already walking the catwalk of Spanish brand Desigual, an experience that quickly launched her into the fashion system. Since then, she was seen on the most important catwalks in the world.
During Spring 2015 fashion week, she walked for Tom Ford in Los Angeles, alongside her sister Gigi, wearing dark Gothic inspired outfits. In autumn of the same year, during the New York Fashion Week, she walked for Tommy Hilfiger, Diane von Furstenberg and Marc Jacobs and closed Jeremy Scott show. She attended Milan Fashion Week, wearing Bottega Veneta, Missoni, Moschino and Philipp Plein amazing clothes, before heading to Paris to walk for Balmain. In December, Bella Hadid made her debut for Chanel in Rome, elegantly sporting the super refined pieces of the French fashion house. She became so one of the most popular and sought-after models around the world.
Her perfect shape and breathtaking beauty captured the attention of famous lingerie brands, Victoria’s Secret, which wanted her next to her sister Gigi for the 2016 fashion show held in Paris: Bella wore a magnificent bright, pearl grey body suit, and she shined on the runaway.
Voted model of the year at the Daily Front Rows Fashion Los Angeles Awards, Bella Hadid was selected as the new face of Dior Beauty, but she also starred in the Versace campaign alongside Stella Maxwell and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.
At the Spring-Summer 2019 fashion weeks, the top model of the moment sported extraordinary designer outfits. At Moschino, she wore a magnificent jumpsuit, revealing her beautiful body; space look with crop tops, shorts and silver boots, instead, on Roberto Cavalli catwalk; sporty and chic in Fendi, featuring a shirt and cycling shorts.
In a recent interview, the it-girl stated that she manages to be herself with any outfit she wears… Might this be the key to her success?
