Rinascente never ceases to renew itself. After the opening of Rinascente annex, the it-space for trendy menswear aimed at a young and detail-oriented customer, the main building inaugurates two floors dedicated to men’s fashion. The architectural restyling extends the footwear department and makes room for a new selection of brands.
The newly revisited first floor maintains its Fashion and Luxury identity. Warm materials such as teak wood, exclusively chosen for the area by Mubai Studio, are combined with brass chandeliers designed by Michael Anastassiades, giving the space a cosy allure. Along the perimeter, there are super-brand shops-in-shops offering men’s hottest proposals: from Burberry and its new identity redesigned by Riccardo Tisci, Balenciaga, already featured on the third floor with the women’s collection, as well as American designer Thom Browne. Alexander McQueen will expands its area, Valentino will show up here, Celine will open an exclusive shop-in-shop in July and Off-White will also conquer its place. Dior, Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, Givenchy, Moncler and Dsquared2 will also be featured in the new department.
The central area, as well as fashion brands like Dries Van Noten, Acne Studios, Kenzo,Comme des Garçons, Neil Barrett, N°21, will welcome the new Loewe ready-to-wear and accessories space. The Advanced-Contemporary proposal will be represented by brands such as Jacquemus, Heron Preston, Palm Angels, Marcelo Burlon, MSGM, GCDS, Y-3 and Stone Island.
Emphasis will be given to timeless brands such as Aspesi, Stutterheim, A.P.C., Arc’teryx Veilance, Mackintosh and Slowear. The accessory department will expand and host big brands such as Montblanc, Serapian, Bally, Smythson, Cote-Ciel, Zanellato, Paul Smith, Dunhill London, Pierre Hardy, Borsalino, Pierre Louis Mascià and many others.
The sneaker area will offers an exclusive choice, ranging from fashion brands like Zanotti, Pierre Hardy, Raf Simons, Palm Angels, Stone Island, Marcelo Burlon, Y-3, Nike x Comme des Garçons, MSGM, N°21, to P448, Filling Pieces, Excelsior and ARKK premium sneakers, to iconic brands like Nike, Adidas, Puma, Reebok, Converse and Diadora and Underarmour and Salomon performance styles.
The second floor has been developed with an orthogonal concept by the Dordoni studio. Volumes are redesigned by a large, diagonally placed concrete beam, unmistakable symbol of Ensamble Studio evocative architecture. The footwear proposal will be displayed on stainless steel shelves and the flooring will be enlivened by Dutch designer Sabine Marcelis resin textures. In addition to Ferragamo, Church’s, Tod’s, Santoni and Hogan, a new space will become the symbol of creativity and Italian craftsmanship with Fratelli Rossetti, Marsell, Officine Creative, Buttero, Moreschi, Andrea Ventura, Doucal’s, Alberto Fasciani, Moma and Raparo.
There will also be more formal proposals with British brands John Lobb, Crockett & Jones, Edward Green and Tricker’s. Casual collections will be offered by brands such as Premiata, Royal Republic, National Standard, Zespa, Philippe Model, Paul Smith, Emporio Armani, Andrea Zori and Sebago, on top of Birkenstock, Castaner and Rivieras summer collections. Astorflex, Blundstone, Bruno’s, Camper, Clarks, Dr Martens, Paraboot, Sperry, Stemar, Sturlini, Swims, Timberland, Wally Walker and Brunello Cucinelli, Ermenegildo Zegna, Etro, Emporio Armani, Hugo Boss, Corneliani, Polo Ralph Lauren, Eleventy, Tommy Hilfiger, Paul & Shark and Lacoste shops will be added to this astonishing space entirely dedicated to men’s fashion.
Still on the second floor, the best of knitwear with Fedeli, Drumhor, Scaglione, Gransasso, brands specialized in trousers and denim with Jacob Cohen and the multibrand space with Handpicked, Tramarossa, Seven For All Mankind, Richar J. Brown, Briglia, PT01, Entre Amis and Jeckerson. In Moorer, Herno and Fay shop-in-shops, you will find the most exclusive outerwear, while Woolrich, Barbour and Schott will offer the trendiest street-style. There will also be an area dedicated to the latest total-looks with LBM 1911, Massimo Alba, Boglioli and Circolo.
The shirt department will see Barba, Salvatore Piccolo, Delsiena, Alessandro Gherardi, Danolis, Finamore, Giannetto Portofino, Van Laak, Xacus and Mazzarelli. The underwear department will host Emporio Armani, Calvin Klein, Dolce & Gabbana, Polo Ralph Lauren, Zegna, La Perla, Julipet, Perofil, Hanro, as well as the selection of Gallo, Church’s, Falke, Sorley socks and many others.
Beachwear will also be present with its latest trends featuring Villebrequin, Mc2 Saint Barth, Sundek, Emporio Armani, Fedeli, Orlebar Brown, Seybra and new brands such as OAS, PRF, Emporio Armani swimwear, Moschino, CK, Bikkembergs, Missoni and Dsquared2.
