Rinascente, by embodying all these values and conveying them through its design and fashion collections, as well as beauty, food, architecture and art, is preparing to celebrate the Made in Italy with an exclusive event in the flagship store in via del Tritone. Each floor will offer themed activities and installations together with handmade products.
On the ground floor, Valextra will give you the opportunity to create your own logo, starting from a selection of colours: then, an in house graphic designer will develop a rendering of the personalised pattern chosen by the customer and then printed on the bag. At the dedicated shop-in-shop, DoDo will present the Nodo collection. At Persol legendary Made in Italy eyewear personalised shop-in-shop, the brand’s craftsmanship will be explained live by showing the various steps leading to the creation of the sunglasses, a perfect alchemy between aesthetics and technology. On this occasion, customers will be able to customise their new purchase by having their initials engraved on the iconic Persol arrow. In addition, the Linda Farrow collection for Iceberg will be launched exclusively at Rinascente in Rome; come and observe the craftsmanship of Linda Farrow and the aesthetics of Iceberg luxury streetwear, created with the aim of combining high performance with a punk spirit.
On the second floor, the space dedicated to men’s fashion, Zegna and its tailor Antonello Fili will talk about the custom-made service through the use of professional mannequins and a vast range of fabrics and materials. Montblanc will offer the customisation service for leather goods through embossing to all those who choose to buy a product from the fashion house. Eleventy will illustrate the eight steps for making the Platinum jackets. Santoni, an excellence in shoemaking, will offer a trunk show at the new men’s corner on Saturday, from 4.00 pm to 8.00 pm and Sunday, from 3.00 pm to 6.00 pm.
On the third floor, Harmont & Blaine will dedicate a space to Italian creativity: the Dachshund logo brand’ customers will be awarded with a personalised shopper with an illustration made on the spot. The project was created in collaboration with Alessandro Giorgini, an Italian designer who worked with brands such as Armani, Adidas and Puma. 120% Lino, an Italian brand specialising in the production of luxury linen, will propose video contributions designed to tell their guests how, through retting and innovative processes, natural flax fibres are transformed into unique and timeless garments capable of enhancing the refined identity of this natural fabric. With the “Design Stories” exhibition, Alessi will present 8 among the designers and architects who contributed to elevate the brand to one of the leading exponents of Italian design factories. Roy Roger’s, the first Italian jeans label, will offer customers an original denim pocket to be used as a multifunctional bag. A skilled seamstress will personally create each piece in the store, faithfully reproducing the iconic Roy Roger’s pocket, with zip closure and black triangle detail.
The fourth floor will pamper all female customers. Jimmy Choo will invite you to discover the new Choo x You customization service: you will be able to choose from a variety of exclusive motifs (symbols, letters and slogans) made with Swarovski crystals, to make your article truly unique and special.

Slamp is a brand that stands out for its original, eclectic and contemporary lamps: At Rinascente, the Seamstresses of Light will illustrate live how the delicate process of assembling the luminous bouquet that gives life to Clizia suspension light happens. A unique opportunity to discover the unbreakable technopolymers of Slamp.
However, Made in Italy also means good food. A hostess will introduce Santomiele products, presenting the special Limoni collection, an exclusive line of lemon chocolate, through delicious tastings. Guerzoni will invite you to a sensory journey starting from grape must, a raw material used to produce balsamic vinegar, to the balsamic vinegar of Modena PGI and the traditional balsamic vinegar DOP. You will also have the opportunity to savour apple vinegar, aged vinegar, wine vinegar and cream with balsamic vinegar of Modena. Mazzetti d’Altavilla will propose a live preparation of a classic Italian liquor and a bitter: through a skilled combination of previously produced bases containing alcohol and infusions of herbs or spices and sugar syrups of different concentrations, it will be possible to attend to the birth of a liqueur that will then be mixed to offer a small aperitif or digestive.
Bosco D’Oro will show how to select and prepare fresh truffle, from which its products displayed on the shelves at Rinascente are derived: the season of summer black truffle will begin, in fact, on May 1st. Madeiterraneo will invite customers to two sessions of fresh pasta preparation, stracciatella ravioli and pappardelle, followed by tastings. The Pastificio Felicetti, which from 1908 has been producing pasta in the heart of the Dolomites, will also be present. San Gregorio will organise a cooking show during which mozzarella nodini will be served.The Botticella winery, a leading producer of quality Italian fine wines, will also participate. Campofilone will demonstrate the different phases to make fresh pasta: from the dough with flour and eggs to the rolling of the pastry with the rolling pin, until the pasta is cut. Finally, Temakinho will introduce the Italian Roll Toque, created by culinary director Fabiano Molina Gonçalves together with chef Andrea Sarri.
